ACTIVISM IN THE ECUADORIAN AMAZON

Starting in 2020, we moved from the city of Quito to the Amazon rainforest, specifically to a village named Limón Indanza. We held a steadfast belief that this enchanting spot in Ecuador was an undiscovered paradise, replete with numerous tourist attractions. Our focus centered on championing tourism through our passions: trail running and adventure. We created Limon Skyrace and Ultra Cueva de los Tayos.

One of our main goals is to protect the rivers and the jungle.

Since you cannot protect what you do not know, these projects have contributed to echoing this corner of the Amazon throughout Ecuador.

Encourage children and young people to become part of a different lifestyle, with a stronger connection to nature and the discipline of sports.

Promote the belief among the population that tourism can serve as an income source capable of energizing the entire economy, encompassing restaurants, hotels, shops, transportation, etc. This aims to conserve non-renewable resources and move away from mining, which only results in destruction and scarcity for future generations.
