We are on our way to the cave Cueva de los Tayos. Therefor we drove two hours from Limon to Coangos and then half an hour by boat into the Jungle. After one hour hike through the jungle we made a break to swing around like Tarzan…. To be continued …

On my way to the bottom of the cave Cueva de los Tayos. Today I challenged my fear of heights and after 50 meters of abseiling in the deep dark I think that I‘m cured 😃
The following 48 hours we will stay here in the cave with the Tayo birds, tarantulas and without daylight. I hope you are not afraid of the dark and of spiders if you follow my story of the cave. Or you have to challenge yourself like I did … To be continued …

 

Today we saw the daylight again! „Daylight“ is the name of this canyon. Here we are 90 meters unter the earth. After 24 hours in the cave it‘s nice turn off the headlamp and to see the sun again. To be continued…

 

Fotos and words can not describe what we experienced in our three days in the cave. But I try to give you an insight of our adventure.
