HAYDEN HAWKS

Hayden Hawks, the accomplished American ultramarathoner, is celebrated for his excellence in long-distance trail races and ultramarathons. He has won the CCC UTMB, Penyagolosa, and Lavaredo Ultratrail, and achieved second place in the Tarawera Ultramarathon and Western States. In 2024, after knee surgery and months of rehabilitation, Hayden not only won the Black Canyon 100K but also set a new course record and earned a golden ticket to the Western States 100. What a comeback! Following a DNF in 2023 due to injury, Hayden dominated the Western States Endurance Run this year, securing the fourth fastest time in race history. His incredible performance, finishing 83 minutes faster than his 2022 runner-up finish with a 5:50-minute last mile, is a testament to his dedication and resilience.

JUAN ANTONIO REYES

Juan Antonio Reyes is the co-founder of Wild Ecuador and a certified national tour guide and trail runner.

He has been working in the tourism industry for over 20 years.

Since the pandemic, he has become a tourism activist, aiming to empower communities across Ecuador, especially in the Amazon region, to preserve their lands instead of selling them to mining companies and the timber industry. He also organized trail running races in this region, motivating local tourism.
